November 15: Intercontinental fundraiser for Winchester Hospital

Client was very impressed Saturday night and would like to talk about options. Here is a note from her mom….

The Sultans of Swing are remarkable! They had a ten piece band and 3 singers. I think 7 pieces and 2 vocalists are enough - do you agree? I will pay for another horn - they had 3 - but they were also entertaining 400 people. They engaged the audience in a way that I have never seen before. Jay and  I spoke to a few members of the band - who interestingly live in RI. They said that if you tell Jerry what kind of music you want - he decides what to send. (I'm sure you know all this.)  What do you think about music for the cocktail hour? I am not sure anyone will hear it with the sounds of the outside environment. Please let me know your thoughts.

Yes, you can absolutely use us as a reference! You guys were AMAZING  - flawless actually! - and Jerry and the band MADE the wedding the event that it was. I would sing all of your praises from the tree tops! As for final payment, my parents sent that out to you via mail. Please let me know that you received it. Sorry it took a while to get back to you.    I am sorry for the delay in my response but we stayed in NY a little longer and exhausted ourselves with good food and fun. Before I send you and your band a proper thank you, I need you to know how excellent you were and how many of our guests love you. Believe me, I realize towards the end, all the details slipped out of my control and you were even bombarded with the Italian Mafia -- but please know that you did an amazing job despite.We had the most beautiful night and your music was so much of it! Thank you again, please know I will be recommending you over and over again.  What a fantastic group :)))

October 27: South Shore Hospital

As a professional event planner , entertainment and the quality of the meal are the two take always that your guests will remember! 

Let me first say- Jerry and the band are absolutely  TOP NOTCH!!!! I can't begin to describe how utterly fantastic they are. They represent the hottest band I've personally ever heard ( and since I plan charity events for the hospital and parties for individuals ) I've heard a lot of bands. The vocal capabilities of the band are very diverse. The lead vocalists can sing everything from  Frank Sinatra to the most amazing rendition of Amy Winehouse's ' I won't go to Rehab"... ( utube the songs if you aren't familiar with them)...my point being that this band will leave you, your new husband and guests begging for just one more song. 

We are building a cancer center with Dana Farber to serve the South Shore, Cape & Islands, I had over 550 guests at our event last month. Traditionally half the guests leave around 10 but this year our dance floor was packed literally up until the band stopped playing at midnight. 

If you are looking for a band that's professional, easy to work with and extremely versatile RUN don't walk to the mailbox and send in your deposit for this amazing band. Better yet- call with a credit card- talent like this books well in advance----  I should know , I've already reserved them again for next October 2009!
